FAS library
The library service at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka plays a vital role as the primary means of acquiring, organizing, and disseminating knowledge and information to its academic community. Established on September 2nd, 1996, the library system of Rajarata University has been an integral part of the institution’s growth. Situated within the Mihintale premises of the applied sciences faculty, the FAS Library offers convenient access to its extensive collection. Users can explore the library catalogues effortlessly through Online Public Access Catalogues (OPACs), while the Library’s University Institutional Repository serves as a valuable resource for preserving and sharing scholarly works.
Library opening hours
- Weekdays: 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
- The library is closed on weekends and holidays.
- During Study Leave and Exam periods: The Library will be open until 7:45 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Saturdays.
