Administrative Structure

The postgraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Applied Sciences shall be administrated by the Postgraduate Unit established under the purview of the Faculty Board.

Administrative Composition of the Postgraduate Unit

  • The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Chair)
  • Coordinator of the Postgraduate Studies
  • Representative of the FAS to the University Research and Publication Committee
  • Heads of Academic Departments of the FAS
  • A representative of Senate, appointed by Senate (appointed for a period of three years)
  • The Assistant Registrar / Registrar / Deputy Registrar of FAS (Secretary)

The Postgraduate Unit shall propose Board of Study to manage programs in specific fields of study to the Faculty Board for its recommendation and to the Senate for its approval as and when necessity arises.
