BSc in Information Technology
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology offered by the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka through its Department of Computing, Faculty of Applied Sciences, is a three-year full-time undergraduate program. BSc Honors in Information Technology
The Bachelor of Science Honors in Information Technology is a four-year degree program that provides advanced knowledge and specialization in computing. Students are selected for the Honors program based on their academic performance during the initial three years of study, making it a competitive and merit-based progression.
The Honors year focuses on deeper subject knowledge and includes advanced modules in areas such as software development, data management, artificial intelligence, and information security. A key component of this program is an individual research project, where students apply their knowledge to address real-world problems and develop innovative solutions.
